Specialties: anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Have you been to therapy before and felt like you weren’t getting much from the experience? Maybe your therapist listened but didn’t have much to say, and this went on week after week. If you’re still dealing with the same issues and looking for a different approach, I may be able to help. You might not be sure what exactly it is that isn’t working in your life, where you’re blocked in your relationships, your personal growth, or in finding meaning and joy. Realizing it’s the right time to take a deep dive into understanding yourself is a big first step. We can work together to figure out what changes you need to make for yourself.

My training is rooted in over a decade spent as a wilderness therapy guide, and my experiences in adventure therapy work. Living in small groups taught me about what it really means to be human. This perspective is beneficial to my client’s relationships, developing self-care habits, and understanding how creating meaning guards us from mental health issues.

It’s important that you understand why I do this work. My family has a lot of intergenerational trauma – war refugees, parental abandonment, sexual trauma, addiction, and suicide. My first step towards becoming a therapist was to learn how to deal with my own anxiety and depression. I want to share the knowledge I have so that you can help yourself heal.
